Flashback to {Freshman} Year at BYU

The start of our sophomore year at BYU is right around the corner! So exciting but scary all at the same time. We have been reminiscing about all the fun we had freshman year and can not wait for all the new memories to be had this next school year! We just wanted to share some photos from our most memorable moments...

Getting soaked at the first home football game

Repping BYU with some of Kelsey's roomies :)

Typical shenanigans with our smookums babycakes (AKA Kori)

We found a random bean bag on the side of the road... haha

Festival of Colors

Kelsey & roomies after church

Last day with the full chunkster gang before summer

Creamery ice cream dates were our fave especially after boy drama hehe

Pre-game excitement

Church erry week

Friday lunch dates with Kori was our favorite freshmen tradition!

College sleepover festivities

Most people do not know this but we did not live together freshman year! This surprises a lot of people when we tell them. We definitely don't regret it but are so happy we decided to live together this year. :) We were able to meet different people and make more friends that way but we always still end up back together, as twins should ha. By the end of freshmen year Kels would always go over to Kay's apartment and hang out with Myranda & Wynne, our lil nuggets,  we LOVE them so much. In addition, one of our other best friend's, Kori, is serving a mission right now for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so we are going to miss her sooo much this year! But we know she is doing what is best, serving the Lord. We are so excited to meet new people this year, hopefully some cute boys hehe. Well wish us luck as we embark on this new school year! Aghh here we go again.

REUNITED & Yes It Does Feel OH so G00d

Our nugs are back in town! After being away from each other for 4 long months the tinder babes are FINALLY back together again!:)

Of course the first thing that had to be done upon our reunion were babygurl hugs. <3 Oh how Kels missed them...

Panda finally got to meet Myra. (Panda was so excited)

It was nice to see Myra but we still had to wait until Friday morning to see our Wynne! Kay heard a noise at the door and went over to check it out and sure enough it was Wendy walking into the apartment. Tears of happiness were shed haha.

Friday night before we were all able to hang out together Kayley went on a group date to Provo Beach Resort! It was a date of many firsts. First time going to Provo Beach Resort, first time playing miniature croquet {only one in the country}, and first time playing laser tag. All in all it was a blast! Thanks B-hop :) haha

Once Kayley was back from her date the whole nug clan went up to a campsite in Lehi and met up with our friend Baxter who invited us there with him and some of his friends. We had a fun drive there (as can be seen by the pictures).

You bet we roasted weenies and mallows over that campfire.

We may look turnt but don't fear we attend the #1 stone cold sober school in the nation. Obviously we were drankin Kool-Aid. And yes we like to dress the same hehe.

Ooohh so spooky

And were we mentally there? ???

We just really love each other is all.

We ended the night with our jam, Drunk in Love. Couldn't get better than that. Well time to party on before classes start Tuesday!

Welcome to Our Crib

After 18 years of sharing a room together + 1 year of sharing a room with someone else, our freshman year, this is the FIRST time having our very own room. We finished decorating our bedrooms and LOVE it so we thought we would share some inspiration! We bought  a lot of our decorations from Ross, TJ Maxx,Target, and Ikea.

First stop, Kayley's room...

I put pictures all along the top of my wall all around the room, it's a super cheap and easy way to decorate!

The "banner" above my bed is self adhesive wall stickers from Target. Also, I'm using the same bedding from freshman year - I love the color!

Voila! My closet. Starting from the left, there is a collage of postcards on the wall above the closet. Just a little side note about us...we both collect postcards. We love buying them wherever we go and later looking at them and all the places we have visited. Feel free to send us one! haha

Yes, why of course I put all the hot BYU basketball players on my corkboard.

My desk :)

Guess what, I bought that vase and pink flowers in the corner from DI - SCORE. In addition, do you see that wooden cat?? Yep its butt is in the air ahaha. Of course, I had to buy it.

Instead of putting my dresser under my bed I put it across from my bed to utilize it as a side table! Kort made the dream catcher that is on the wall...heart her. I bought little glass dishes from thrift stores and put my jewelry in it to store on top. You can't see it very well but there is also a clear glass skull on the right that is pretty rad.

The best is always saved for last right? hehe Next stop, Kelsey's room!

Cutie Kort made me a dream catcher too so I decided to put it on the front of my door.

It's small, but very cozy :)

I'm using the same bedding I used freshman year. My cute g-ma made the denim blanket for me that's at the end of my bed. <3 her.

I go to Kort for all my art decor needs so of course she painted all of those individual paintings for me! I then did a little DIY project and connected all the paintings to clothespins on a piece of string and hung it up. It's a very cheap and cute way to hang artwork or pictures!

Spot the squirrel. He's the cutie on the top right.

Like Kayley I also put my dresser against the wall and use it as a side table. I am the designated printing room so that's cool.

I bought cork boards that came in a set of 4 so I arranged them in a square on my wall. I put tickets, papers, and different items collected from memorable moments up.

Who would say no to a sparkly Indian inspired ottoman? I sure didn't.

My desk chair is SO uncomfortable! I bought a navy seat cushion at Ikea to make it a little more bearable to sit on.

Classic college Christmas lights of course. Why not?

I guess ex-boyfriends are good for something, a cute puppy dog. heheha

Last stop in my room, the closet!

We hope you enjoyed our rooms! Stay tuned for additional tours around our apartment. :)

Temple Tuesday

**If you want to know about LDS temples check out this link https://www.lds.org/church/temples?lang=eng**

With a week before classes starting it's been pretty stressful. We've been busy buying books, finalizing our class schedules, getting settled in our apartment, work training at a new job {kels}, and looking for a new job {kay}. On top of that we have been dealing with $200 being stolen from Kelsey's bedroom...not even kidding. In order to calm ourselves from all our worries we went to the temple today - where we can always find peace and comfort

The Provo Temple has always looked a little odd to us but nonetheless we still think it's beautiful haha :)

Basic Mormon girls lolz. We tried to take a pic together, we were kind of successful? Also, we have been loving headbands lately!! The ones at Francesca's are super cute.

We love to see the temple. Sorry, we just had to throw that in.
