Would you like a T A C K O?

Highlights of the week include:

1) Kelsey coming home from work one day and witnessing freaks conjuring spirits in the living room...

2) TACKO TUESDAY

3) Run to the temple. Sooo purrrrty.

4) This. Enough said.

5) Ward Hoedown. "We put the hoe in hoedown." -Unnamed announcer {apparently he didn't think that through before he said it rofl}

6) Observing country dancing at its finest.

7) Wynnie's pasta making skills. mmmm yum. Oh & ginger beer. <3

8) Last but not least, the best highlight of the week. Wynne's personal photo shoot while anxiously awaiting Kayley's return home.

Like a faithful puppy dog waiting for its owner.

In Kayley's room excitedly watching the door.

And in our bathroom. Good thing Kayley came home soon because Wynne was having way too much fun. hehe

H e y PUNK-IN

This past weekend started out with a lovely trip to the grocery store. We love grocery shopping! hehe Except Kayley didn't go because she had work. :( We try to eat all-natural foods as much as possible. These are some pictures of what Kelsey bought!

We love our produce. Especially our bananas. haha We both have a banana every single day without fail.

After Kayley got out of work our friend Dillon from our ward called her and asked if she would like to go on a blind date with a friend he knew. After he called she decided she was too tired from work and asked if Kelsey wanted to go instead. So Kelsey went for her. {We figured there wouldn't be a problem with that lol} It was a group date and we went to The Haunted Forest. It's this maze you walk through with creepy things talking to you and chasing you. It's quite frightening haha Let's just say it raises your heartbeat a little bit. Then after we shot zombies with a paintball gun so that was awesome. After that went to Dillon's apartment and watched a movie. Kelsey's date was a total hippie dude so it was very entertaining to say the least. lolz Fortuantely no second date.

Saturday we made a little road trip to Culver's! {if you can call a 20 minute drive a road trip ha} Wynne told us that their pumpkin shakes are bomb.com so we had to go considering we love pumpkin anything.

And we went to heaven momentarily...

Saturday night we went to a FOOTBALL GAME. Woohoo We did not want to wait in line all day to get good seats so unfortunately our seats weren't too great. :/ Oh well we had fun anyway! We sat by our friend Brooke that we met last year. We realized that we need to hangout with her more, she's a great friend!

Pre-gaming fun.

It was a homecoming game so there were fireworks and lots of balloons. It was the real deal.

\

It was a typical Sunday! Church and family dinner aka story time with Kyle. <3

Church bathroom mirror pic because why not? The twitches can twitch whenever they want.

Wynne was scared because she was in the middle of a twitch sandwich.

We have tests, homework, work, and lots of school this week. Ewww Time to turn down.....

T W I T C H E S

First things first...last week Wynne got hit by a car riding her bicycle. You heard us right, SHE GOT HIT BY A CAR!! It was really scary. She came away with a concussion, stitches on her ear {that almost came off}, and a scraped up face. We're very grateful nothing worse happened! We never want to see our Wendy injured again. :( She's the only Wynne that we have... #neverforget #October8th

Tonight we decided to try something new for dinner so we went to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. It was super good! We both got BBQ chicken bowls.

After eating we went frolicking around town. Just kidding... we kinda just sat outside and took pictures. Basic twitches.

Spot the crazy eyes. Oh and beautiful fall flowers.

Sippin'

Naturally we found some leaves perfectly set up for a photo shoot.

Trees need attention too.

What's over there Kayley?

Kelsey admiring the leaf she picked.

We both picked leaves to bring home to our Wendy. Our present to her.

Well that's embarrassin'...

It was a lovely fall day.

Your favorite twitches,

#ldsconf

On Thursday {while Kayley was working} Wynne and Kelsey went to a farmer's market at the stadium. There were lots of booths and produce! It was great.

We bought a bag of delicious apples. :)

After the farmer's market we went to a food truck round up! It's just one of the many things that makes Provo cool.

We both got food from the sweeto burrito food truck. Kelsey got a buff chick burrito. It was heavenly.

Thursday also happened to be Myra's birthday! Sweet 19. After Kayley got out of work we got our party gear ready and headed over to Myranda's apartment.

We made her a cake out of honey buns hehe

On our way to sweet Myra's house we go

It ain't a party without party hats

When we got to Myranda's house she was in for quite a surprise. hehe Before we knocked on her door we lit the honey bun cake, put our hats on, inflated dino, turned on the strobe light, made sure we had the balloons and happy drank, then turned on her birthday song, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to..." It was a success haha

Just some of our birthday dranks

Happy drank shots

Shots round 2

Happy drank / Danimals wasted

The birthday girl herself. She's hot.

We went to a ROC party later that night {prefootball game party} and Dino wanted to come with. He's such a model.

Friday night Kayley had work {ugh} but Kelsey and Wynne decided to go to the last rooftop concert of the year! Our plans quickly changed though when we went to the parking garage and discovered that our car had been booted! OMH They thought we didn't have a parking permit {but we do!}. The whole ordeal made Kelsey very salty. So we had to wait close to 2 hours for someone to come and take the boot off. Kelsey just has the worst luck ever basically. :( We eventually made it to the rooftop concert though. We didn't want to listen to the first band so we wandered around center street and went to a really cool book shop. By the time the next band started we just weren't feeling the whole concert thing anymore so we left haha We decided to use our Friday night more wisely and make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies instead. It was definitely a wise choice.

mmm the smell of pumpkin...

Twice a year The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gather together for a General Conference that is broadcast from Salt Lake. The prophet and apostles speak of issues and give us counsel for our day. How cool it is to have a living prophet that acts as God's messenger. This weekend was General Conference and it was so great. It takes place on Saturday and Sunday with two sessions each day. We stayed home and watched the sessions on TV.

We had brunch Saturday morning! Featuring baked pumpkin french toast and bacon.

We gave each other tattoos as we were watching conference. lolz Kelsey got cheese and Wynne got a cat of course.

Sunday we made a delicious breakfast casserole then watched the first session of conference. Afterward Kelsey drove up with Kyle and his friend Cathy to our Uncle's house in Heber. We ate yummy food that our uncle made for us then we watched the second session. After we ate carrot cake mmm. Basically we had a ton of delicious food this weekend. What more could you want? On the drive home from our uncle's we stopped at a little scenic spot and took a picture. It was a pretty fall day. :)
