...and that is just a sprinkling of what we are thankful for!

This year the KKK went to our Aunt Suzy's and Uncle Brian's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Obviously we took some pictures before we left.

Recently bought these little booties at the mall! They are gray and have black straps on them, so cute with jeans or sweater dresses. 

For as long as we can remember our Dad has been making Danish cabbage for Thanksgiving. When we were little we didn't like it very much, but we love it now! We had to keep the tradition going so we made it Wednesday night to bring with us. It tastes so good with turkey and mashed potatoes all mixed together. haha We also made slow cooker creamed corn.

And this is what it's all about, am I right?

Don't worry there's some turkey under the Danish cabbage. hehe

On that plate there is derby pie, which also happens to be our favorite type of pie.

After eating we had to head back to Provo so Kay and Kyle could get to work at 4. Kayley got a free dinner and got paid time and a half which made it all worth it! After work we went back to West Jordan to go Black Friday shopping with our Aunt and Gma. First stop was Target...

Kay got a white blanket and Christmas socks.

Next stop, Ulta...

Kels got a Lorac lipgloss set and Kay got a Lorac eyeshadow set. We both got argan oil for our hair.

Bath & Body Works...buy 3 get 3 free...we caved

lotions, body sprays, and wall plug ins.

Last stop for the night was Kohls...

We had giftcards from last Christmas so we decided to use them to buy these dresses. 

After shopping at very insane late hours we were pooped and headed back to our Aunt and Uncle's house to sleep. Friday morning we slept in, ate a delicious breakfast made by our Aunt Suzy, and chilled for a bit. After we said buh bye to Grandma and we went to TJ Maxx...

Kels got the huge "lush cedar" candle and Kay got the other huge decorative candle.

After TJ Maxx it was time to head back to Provo again so Kayley could go to work. We definitely gobbled until we wobbled this Thanksgiving. 

How do you show your gratitude? 

Kelsey personally likes to tell Kayley daily that she's thankful we're best friends and twins. hehe

Twerksksgiving Eve

The month of November has been crazy so here is a little RECAP: 

BLACK KEYS CONCERT 

Kelsey and Wynne went together and it was the best. We <3 The Black Keys. 

Our seats were by some strange men. They were trying to flirt with us but we weren't having it. Like wthelen you guys are creepers. One guy even asked for Wynne's numbah. holla holla

IDAHOOO

We spent a weekend in Idaho visiting our grandpapa and grandmama. 

We hit some snowy terrain.

PIT STOP 

Eating at Maddoxx has been a part of our lives since we were young. Our family would eat there whenever we would visit our grandparents or whenever we were in the area. So we had to stop! Plus it is sooo yummy. 

You can't pass up their rolls and raspberry butter. mmm

We ALWAYS order the turkey steak without fail. They are just so darn good. 

PIT STOP 2

We stopped at our aunt and uncle's house for a bit!

After a quick visit we went to Preston to see our Grandpa who is in a care center. We made it there around dinnertime so we visited awhile there while Grams helped him eat. 

Eventually we made it to our grandmama's house.

DANCING WITH COSMO 

Sooo we were chilling in the wilk {student center} together just eating our lunches {as twins should} & Cosmo comes out of nowhere and practically forces Kayley out of her seat to dance with him. lolol Ohhh Cosmo you are a silly one. {Cosmo is our school mascot BTW} It was quite comical. Kelsey wasn't sure whether to sit there and laugh or be completely mortified. hehe It was a good day for Cosmo though. 

FOOD

We went to Slab with Myranda and Wynne. {It's a pizza place close to campus.} They have really unique kinds of pizza and you get a quarter of a pizza for $5. It's awesome. Kayley got thai chicken and Kelsey got chicken bacon ranch. 

One weekend we went to BAM BAM'S BBQ with Kyle. We liked it but probably won't be going back for awhile. We got pork sandwiches and potato salad. 

Another weekend we went to Pizza Pie Cafe. Pizza is life. It's buffet style so we ate a lot of different kinds of pizza. 

p.s. Kelsey seems to have an abundance of pictures of Kayley with food. lol 2 great things in one picture I guess.

Unfortunately this is the last picture of food. We got Zupa's to-go! We got a sandwich and salad. It even came with a chocolate covered strawberry. Oh and those houses are just a little sampling of the Christmas decorations we have been putting up. :) 

LASER BEAM SHOOTING CAT

After work Kelsey was walking home and noticed a cute kitty cat. She stopped to take a picture and it shot laser beams at her. lolol It really liked her. 

KELS' LUCKY DAY 

You know it's your lucky day when you go to the library and find a four leaf clover tucked away in one of the pages of a book you're looking through. 

Here is a flashback Thanksgiving picture for ya. Taken last year with one of our real cousins and then uh our newest cousin. hehe 

We didn't have school today and tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Hooray

Biker B A B E S

Monday included a beautiful "hike" to Bridal Veil Falls for Home Evening. 

Thursday was summed up with FOOD at the Food Truck Roundup. :) 

& FRIDAY was Halloweenie! Wynne, Kay, & Kels dressed up as biker chicks. So basically don't mess with us. We went party hopping with Myranda and Whitley. Obviously we had a photo shoot before our outing. 

heheha

"Are those motorcycles included with your costume?" Yep, indeed they are, random dude. I mean why wouldn't we buy motorcycles to go with our one time costumes? lolz

We wanted to wear a costume that was easy and cheap so we came up with this. We wore black pants, black shoes/boots, black leather jackets, black bandanas, & a black tshirt. Kels painted her nails black and wore {Wynne's} necklace and black big earrings that somehow don't show up in any of the pictures. Kay just wore a bunch of random bracelets. For makeup we used dark eye shadow with lots of eyeliner and mascara. We completed our makeup look with red lips. For our hair we curled it and then teased it like crazy. We also used purple hair chalk and put it on the tips of our hair. Overall, it was a very easy costume to put together!

Pinkies up is the official biker gang sign. At this point in the night we were exhausted and tired of twerking. We went to a party on center street and decided to go right in the middle of all the dancing... bad idea. We were practically skin to skin with a bunch of sweaty smelly people who were shoving and pushing each other. We didn't know that we were going to go on a roller coaster that night. It only took us a good whole 10 minutes to shove our way out of that mess. 

Saturday we went to a restaurant on center street called Guru's for the first time. We loved it! Their sweet potato fries are super super good. A+

Kay got a quesadilla & Kels got a wrap. 

Well it was a spooktacular Halloween weekend. Sadly the season of twitching has now come to an end but hellooo November! :) The season of turkeys are now in. Yay
