Wicked Good day in VERMONT

"What happens in Vermont stays in Vermont... but wait nothing actually happens in Vermont..." awkward.

Our family took a road trip to Vermont today. The land of maple syrup, Ben & Jerry's, cheese, & cows.

We went to the town of Quechee and visited some shops.

The family :) minus our mom because she was taking the photo. Bless her heart. <3

Just one of the shops we visited. Moose head included and all.

We found some antique carousel type toys outside and decided to test them out. lol

You can never go wrong with maple syrup from Vermont. The real stuff.

Kraw went for a ride. hehe

After visiting some shops we stopped at the Quechee gorge. It was lovely.

Vermont in its natural state.

After a stop at the gorge we checked out a glass blowing place called Simon Pearce.

Can you spot the 801?

Outside Simon Pearce there was a classic New England covered bridge and a waterfall.

So cool!

The sibs.

The parentals. <3

You gotta watch out for that creeper in the back.

We had a "wicked" good day in Vermont with our family! :)

merry Christmas!

H0H0H0
- MERRY CHRISTMAS -

Apparently we were on the nice list because Santa visited the Vallace house last night and we didn't get coal. This morning we all slowly began waking from our slumber around 8 and gathered in our room. The morning began with snuggles in our bed. hehe

four eyes X 5

We woke up like this.

Once the rents were woken up they went downstairs to check if Santa came. When we got the okay we ran down to the family room to check out the loot. Every year Santa separates all the kids' stuff with our stockings on a specific section of the couch so we know it's ours! After checking out what Santa got us we went to the living room to open the gifts under the tree. This year we were very blessed, like every year! :)

A few hours later after unwrapping gifts we were starving. We whipped up some pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes, and some regular ones for the picky eaters.

After eating breakfast we were exhausted so we decided to take a nap and chill for a little bit. A few hours later we helped make Christmas dinner!

We had smoked turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes, danish cabbage, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, and stuffing. YUMMY

We were blessed with many wonderful gifts this year.

Some of Kayley's favorite things included Vans slip on shoes, a kitten calendar, Toblerone, pretty journals, an iHome speaker, Adidas running shoes, Alex & Ani bracelets, and $$$.

We both get a lot of the same things every year. Kels also got workout shoes, journals, cat stickers, and socks. Kraw also made us both black&white cat patterned pillows! Totes adorbs. Best brother ever. <3

What a fun day it's been. Spending time with family//eating Christmas treats//relaxing//discussing our upcoming cruise//reflecting on Christs birth, life, and resurrection. The only thing that could have made it better is snow, but oh well there's always next year ;)

^^ only 10 more nights of this lol. whatablessing it is to sleep together

HE IS THE GIFT

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."

We finally made it home for the holidays! After stuDYING for exams and taking our finals we are done with our second fall semester at BYU. Kels & Kyle got to go home a few days earlier than Kay because she can only take off 14 days of work. Thankfully all 3 of us get to fly back to Provo together!

On the first day Kyle and Kels were back in NH a visit to Dunks was a must {at least to be considered a classic New Englander}. After picking Kortney up from school we stopped and got some hot cocoa. 'Tis the season of sipping.

Snapshots with the favored siblings.

It was the longest distance we've ever been apart from each other. :( Sad days.

YAY after three days apart we are no longer twin less!

Kels just really likes to wear her bathrobe 24/7. Keeps things interesting.

First full day back together included running some errands with mommy.

On Christmas Adam we went and saw The Hobbit. The traffic was horrendous because everyone and their hamster were doing their Christmas shopping. Kort and Kay took some selfies to occupy their time.

CHRISTMAS EVE

It was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a Kyle.

 family dinner - Kay's food

...and Kelsey's plate. It was so yummy!

No need to check your list twice this year Santa, we've been very good girls.

Every Christmas Eve since we were little it has been tradition to make sugar cookies A.K.A. "Santa Cookies". We love doing it!

Roll that dough.

In the oven they go.

After we were done baking and decorating the cookies, it was dessert time! We ate one of our cookies and also had a piece of cookie butter cheesecake from Trader Joe's. It was the most delicious thing ever... We highly recommend it.

hehehe This is what happens when brothers steal your phones. Silly boys.

It is also tradition in our family to watch The Nativity and other videos about Christ on Christmas Eve. It is a good reminder that Christ is the reason for the season.
"The glitter of the season should never prevent us from seeing The Prince of Peace." - Dieter F. Uchtdorf.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Eve!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT
